'Wonderland'

In September - November 2021 I did a project focused on 'Alice's Adventures in Wonderland' by Lewis Carroll, 1865. I researched into the film adaptations from 1903 to 2010, and looked to a range of practitioners for inspiration. These included Colleen Atwood, Tim Burton, Peter Blake, Yuko Higuchi, Maria Grazia Chiuri, Simone Rocha and Christian Dior. My final costume consists of a hand lino-printed fabric dress, paired with a blue stripe print bubble illusion skirt, designed for the character of the Cheshire Cat.
